We all know that in the styling of kitchens many designers go to designer glass water bottles in order to add a pop of color and give the room a lived in feel.
The usual suspects are normally:
Perrier, San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna
There is nothing wrong with using these, but to me it’s a bit BORING! There are so many other choices you can go with so why settle with what everyone else is using.
Below are some picks that I think would add a bit more fun and really add a punch of color!
My favorite go-to summer drink that I’m constantly bringing to BBQs and getting people hooked on is:
My favorite has to be blood orange, but throughout the summer months I’m stocked with lemonade, blood orange and pomegranate. I leave them on my kitchen island and even display them empty once I’m finished.
Staying with sparkling lemonades another favorite has to be:
I’m loving those last two bottles in the shades of pink!
On my recent trip the local Mexican restaurant I fell in love with all of their soda choices. Talk about a pop of color with Jarritos and they had a variety of flavors including watermelon, lime and guava. No need to pick them at a restaurant just cruise the International food aisle at your local supermarket.
You can also find vintage favorites on the web like Moxie,Nesbitt and Boylan.

If you are a Dallas local you can even make a stop at The Soda Gallery at choose from 200 colas from around the world!
I really love all the thought that goes into packaging from the shapes of the bottles, the fonts, the labels and color combos. They all look like mini works of art and for only a couple of bucks a bottle you can give your kitchen a mini-facelift by adding a couple of them and as an added bonus you get to drink them as well!
Do you have a favorite bottle that I didn’t list? Please share!
Love it! We got to bring our own beverages to our wedding (we’ll, we gave them to the caterers before hand-we didn’t truck in with PBR in our hands) but we had all bottled “old fahsioned” style sodes. We had the cutest little bottles of pink french lemonade. Can’t remember the type, but so cute! A little detail no one else probably noticed but else. So fun!
at the holidays, evian teams up with designers! last year, i bought gorgeous christian lacroix bottles the day after xmas at target, and they were .99 cents each..theyre on my counter still( i almost had to kick someone out at a gathering for trying to open them!!
antI recently bought 2 clear bottles that look like aniqued wine bottle from Maryannes Fabrics for like $2. I am going to fill with them with something colorful..not sure where they are going to go yet. But I love the vintage soda bottles that you posted on – so fun!
Lately when we’ve entertained we set out lots of different bottled drinks with colored straws. Everyone gets a big kick out of deciding what to drink and it looks super cute.
Oh great ideas!!!! (Although I have to say I'm crazy for the aquafina bottle!! hahah I would totally use them & then refill & chill them– hahahahah) xoxo
I LOVE this idea… another idea that I have always wanted to execute is filling shelves in a kitchen with “staples” that have classic packaging… the canned tomatoes, kosher salt, campbells soup, etc.
those lorina lemonades are delish! They look gorgeous plunged in a galvinzed bucket of ice at a patio party or displayed on a tray in the guestroom. They’re just a little bit fizzy and oh so yummy.
This is such a fun post. I loved it. The blood orange sounds wonderful… and I love that cute tonic bottle towards the end. I may need to stock our bar!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

I had some sparkling water today out of a blue glass bottle and it tasted “pretty” – I love all your bottles of pop!

They are all such pretty bottles. I’ll have to try out that blood orange one you talked about, that looked delish!
What about Saratoga water, that is in a colbolt blue bottle

This is such a great idea! I've never tried some of those drinks & think that they would be a great addition to my summer BBQ series!

i like where you’re going with this…you’re bottles are way more interesting than the norm.
