Favorite Things: Decorative Instincts GIVE-AWAY
Nothing is better than finding a great ETSY seller. I could spend hours on there just searching and searching filling up a cart of all the items on my wish list.
A couple of months ago I had a wonderful transaction with etsy seller Merle of Decorative Instincts. I had ordered a pillow from her and when it arrived it seemed to have a small defect. I’m certain no one else would have noticed but me. I emailed her and immediately she not only sent me brand new one, but threw in a little surprise as well. What wonderful customer service!
Her shop is filled with pillows in all of our favorite designer fabrics, aprons that I would wear in a heartbeat, but never cook in, in order to keep them clean and amazing desk accessories including stylish magazine holders in KWID imperial trellis!
Since I’m an avid list writer I knew exactly what I wanted to give-away from Merle’s shop. A large decorative clipboard,which I would use to keep all my client projects in order. I have a small one myself that I use in my kitchen to save all of my recipes.

get inspired with our own home tour
ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I can't get enough of the trellis!
I keep going back and forth between the Chenonceau Charcoal and the Harlem Toile!
I've been pretty obsessed with bird silhouettes lately, so I'm going to go with the Chenonceau Charcoal.

Oh the red it is. My absolute FAV color…I must have the raspberry trellis! My kitchen stuff(pots, mixers, etc) are red, I have a red bathroom and a red wall on both floors. And red manages to get slipped into every room…so need a board to go with all that as I make my To Do lists and plan parties!
