Favorite things: La Plates – GIVEAWAY
If you know me even a little bit then you know that I enjoy a good pop of color, pattern and I can never turn down a good monogram.
Of course when I stumbled onto La Plates site massive excitement is totally putting lightly over my feelings for this site.
Not only could I get my dose of preppy and accessorize my dining room and kitchen, but in using these plates I would acting green as well! No more paper plates!
Thanks to owner Lara I have a set of 4 dessert/salad plates that I’m giving away on the blog!
Info on plates:
-6.5" in diameter, sold in sets of 4 identical designs
-You pick the design*colors*font*monogram
-Made in the USA of melamine, BPA-free and dishwasher safe
Here are some examples of what you can pick from:
A nautical touch of blue and rope:
A favorite color combo of mine. I love anything with brown!
A go-to preppy color combo! You can’t go wrong with pink and green.
In order to enter here is what you have to do!
– Make sure you are a follower. Either on this blog or through google reader.
– Go on to La Plates and leave a comment letting me what pattern you would want!
– If you tweet about this give-away go ahead and enter again.
– If you post about this give-away on your blog do the same and enter again.
Remember anyone can enter! Make sure you leave your email address with your comment.
Give-away open until Friday Dec 4th at midnight EST.
This would be a great holiday gift idea. Since plates are monogrammed they need to be ordered 10-14 days in advance for the holidays so place your orders soon!

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
This is such a great giveaway! I have had my eye on these for a while, and I love anything Monogrammed! My favorite design is either the Greek Key or the Squares Plate. Thanks!

I love LA Plates and already own some in the Modern pattern, but I would love the dessert plates in this giveaway, especially since they have some new designs. I think I would like the Greek Key, Chevron or Squares. They are all fabulous!

I am so pleased to see melamine plates made in the USA. I had no idea such things existed anymore!
I have an almost 3 year old whose favorite color is yellow, so I'd go for the plain yellow plate with a simple American letter initial.

I absolutely love the squares pattern in hot pink with the navy script monogram. They are so fun and very chic!! I absolutely adore so many of them… I would mix and match with all of the pieces if I had an endless budget!
