Weekend Recap: The artist

Lately my weekends have been filled with trips to art stores to pick up canvas & paint.

Why you may ask? Well it turns out that Jon known to most of you as my lovely handy man husband has had an artist hiding inside of him all along. I think working with me on design projects woke something up in Jon and now he can’t turn back. My Christmas gifts this year were many original pieces and he now has decided he wants to open up an etsy shop!

We saw that there was a market for budget friendly original canvas wrapped artwork and voila a collaboration was born. I pick out the color stories and he gets to design this time.

Here are some sneak peeks of what we have been working on:

Sorry for the fuzzy pictures. I was running out the door this morning so iphone pictures was the only thing on hand.

Can’t wait till we open up shop! Now we just need someone to design an etsy banner & logo. Do you have any recommendations?
