You all know that I love a touch of Greek key. It’s such a timeless pattern and works well in a variety of different design styles.
A couple of weeks ago I became insanely jealous over Kirsten’s jaw dropping Greek key coffee table!
Check it out in all of it’s glory:

I heart it so. You see these last couple of weeks my coffee table has been just screaming my name and telling me it wants to be retired and that I need to pick up something new. Totally swear it said that to me. Anyway the hunt for a greek key style coffee table started a while back and after seeing Kirsten’s I kicked my you know what into gear.
Well this past weekend I finally found a budget friendly solution. My living room is on the small side so I can’t go the chunky route like Kirsten’s“, but I can work with this:
I will of course need to give it a paint job, but for $130 I can use a little elbow grease to get it looking it’s best.
Now the million dollar question…what color?
I’m leaning towards pretty in pink. Not sure how Jon will feel about it, but he made the mistake of telling me he doesn’t mind pink. Hmm good to know, because I kinda want repaint the living room walls a pale/barely there pink.

I like the fun colors, but looking at the shape…I think black is the way to go! I need a new coffee table too, hopefully I can score such a great find!
Go with the Emerald Green. Love that table!!!!!
That Misia fabric is my absolute favorite ever! And pink will look incredible
I think the black would look chic especially in your living room! Love this coffee table!
We all went to pink first, then yellow.Show picture of what you decide.
Love that fabric. What is it/who makes it?
It’s my all time favorite fabric: Misia by Manuel Canovas. It’s to the trade. Email me if you want info on how to order it. It does tend to retail in the $100+.
Love the Emeradl Green!
Emerald City. Hands down.
Oh, the possibilities are SO endless! The pink could be all kinds of killer, though!
green or black!
I’m feeling the yellow! I’m sure whatever you decide will be fab!
I love the emerald green!
I’d probably go with the black so the frame really stands out. And then I’d put a large (maybe fabric covered tray) on the bottom shelf to add a little more interest.
I’m loving the yellow! That would be soo you!
Thanks for sharing that affordable find, I love it! Can’t wait to see what color you pick – I’m leaning towards black!
My vote is for the black!! it will look so classic in black!
Love that table. Green or black, I can’t remember what the rest of your space looks like. Great find.
If you’re going to eventually paint the walls pink (which I so hope you are!) then I think the table needs to be emerald!
Great table! I would go with the Emerald Green, it would be amazing especially if you painted to walls in pink.
I’m in love with the emerald green! But, it depends on where the fabric will be and how much of it will be in the room. Don’t think you can go wrong, though. Great table!
I definitely think thatblack is the way to go, even if you use a dark green/black, sherwin williams has on. It will emphasize the clean lines and ground the room. I’d do pops of pink in the accessories, like a pink tray on the coffee table.
I love the emerald green!
Greek is the new…well greek! It cant be replaced!

Hi There! I’ve been a fan of your blog for a while now! Thanks for sharing this find! I’ve been looking for a new coffee table recently. Let me know if you decide to pull the trigger. I’m curious to see about the quality and how the table looks painted. I’m thinking high gloss white for my space… – K

Black or emerald has my vote.
