I’m usually not an earth-toned gal either… but this mood board is fabulous! I think the bold patterns make it feel modern and fresh! LOVE the orange ikat pattern!

  2. I am crazy for that throw!! Your whole plan is lovely- the pop of emerald green is gorgeous.

Using that fabric for a client’s couch. Looks fantastic. Wonder if Kelly Wearstler is mad about the knock off?

  4. Roxy says:

I have slick currently sitting on my desk! And brought in that orange tribal sort of ikat last Fall for the showroom…same page 😉 Love your edit!

Love the fabric choices, and I think the lamps are a fun pop of yellow! Thanks for sharing.

  6. Julie says:

Love love love!! This is making me crave spring even more with fresh greens and St. Patty’s Day. I’m typically only an earth-tone gal when done with a twist of glamor, which you have captured perfectly here!

  7. Love the Amethyst colorway. May need to get that for my dining room!

  8. Heidi M says:

Yummy! Love the green the best, but the neutrals would be awesome in a couple of my rooms. Thanks for sharing!

  9. Absolutely love this color concept board you’ve pulled together at the top of the post, especially that comfy but stately looking chair & it’s neighboring rug(?). My absolute favorite colors are green and the softer oranges. 😀

  10. I love all colors, particularly pink (although I barely have it in my home), but I love this fabric in green for sure.

  11. Lori May says:

Love it! The mix of colors and patterns is just great!

  12. carmel says:

I love that fabric! I think the light pink would be great in a girl’s room.

  13. Rachel says:

What is the fabric to the right of the chair? I MUST know! It would be perfect in my bedroom. I’ve been looking to add some of the peach/pink/marigold tones to my cream and green master bedroom.

  14. Cheryl Vieira says:

TY so much for posting the sources!

  15. Megan Kelly says:

I LOVE the Amethyst and want to use it for curtains in my bedroom. However, I am having trouble finding it other than the site available for trade only. Do you know of any other sources that carry it? Thanks for posting!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
