PB Lattice Rug is mine all mine…
Yesterday I let you guys in on the little secret that I finally found a new living room rug! At first I felt a little silly purchasing a rug for a main room in my house from a catalog that was geared towards teens but, I’m so happy that opened it and embraced my inner Team Edward loving teen and opened up the catalog and found the rug!
Being pregnant has it’s perks and I was able to get my mom to come over quickly yesterday and help me clean up the wood floors in the living room and set up the rug!
So no more teasing checking out my new living room rug:

Of course I still have to tease a little bit and not show you the whole room. Still waiting on new window treatments to arrive and we have a new console table project that we are working on, but it should be all finished in a couple of weeks.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Oh I love it! Is is pretty thick? I have been looking for a wool rug that is graphic like that. Love all those colors! Did you get the thicker rug pad?
It’s really thick no need for a rug pad underneath.
PB Teen is amaze-balls. I find items I love in it all the time- It is just important to check that everything is fully sized, and not doll furniture. Love the rug, love the look, and I am excited for the console table project. xoxo

I love the lattice pattern! I have found some awesome things from both the PB teen and PB kids that I love to use around the house! Rugs, curtains, basket liners!

The fabric is to the trade. I ordered it and then had my workroom make the pillows for me.

I actually found my table via overstock.com and it was a steal. It came in a warm wood tone, but I painted it a hi-gloss black. It’s now out of stock.
I first saw this on Pinterest and fell in love with it! I am so glad that I got to actually see it in a real home. Gonna go back and revisit their colors now that I saw it in your room. It looks beautiful in the room, and the fabrics and contrasting colors you are bringing in are so fun and complimentary to the room.
I find things all the time on PB Teen that are better priced and still very cool!
I’m also super jealous because there is no way my husband would allow a pink rug and your living room (what I can see) ROCKS! 🙂

Would you say the rug is more purple or pink? I am looking for more of a fuschia color pink and white rug for my daughter (3 wks old) nursery. And the picture on the site looks a bit purple to me but in your room in looks more pink.
Hello! I know this is an older post, but I’m wondering if this PB Teen rug sheds? I am about to purchase my third rug because the shedding is so bad and I love this one! If you can let me know that would be great.

It sheds. Not a ton, but in the beginning it was a good amount. Now it’s only little bits of it. It wouldn’t prevent me from buying the rug.

Oh my gosh, I have to tell you that I came to your blog from Joss and Main hoping to find out where you got this rug!! It is absolutely amazing and exactly what I have been looking for!! (I want to go with this color and coral for our master bedroom, but this is a hard color to find!) Unfortunately on their website it doesn’t look like this color is available anymore, but we’ll see if it comes back… I’m keeping my fingers crossed!!!
