This was a rare weekend where we actually had no client work to do so it was nice to get a jump start on some of the half finished projects we have going on in our house. Our pendant lights went up (more on that tomorrow), the house got cleaned from top to bottom, living room chairs got reupholstered and artwork started to get down.
Of course I still have at least 10 more lingering projects to finish before the house is officially (for the time being) finished!
My favorite part of this weekend was getting some artwork hung. My custom framesarrived and all of the artwork that has been floating around my house finally has a home.
Favorite piece that I hung up has to be:
It’s a piece of artwork by Sweet Eventide.It is typically sold as an 8 x 12, but I was able to get a custom size done and had it blown up to 16 x 24! I love it.
*Sorry for no actual pictures of the house today. My mac is acting up and not downloading pictures. I have an appointment today at 10am with a Mac genius to figure it all out. Wish me luck so that I can share images with you tomorrow!
What did you do this weekend? It was so humid here in NY that we were happy to stay indoors and work away.

We actually accomplished a lot this weekend! Thanks to my parents for coming up for a short visit … I hope we can keep up the momentum…
