For over a year now I’ve been searching for a new rug for our living room. Originally my living room was done in a brown/white/orange/blue color combo and then before even finishing it I decided I was over it and went with a totally different color story.
The new main attraction in the room is my beloved Misia fabric by Manuel Canovas:
The fabric has a huge range of colors so one would think it would easy to pick out a rug, but my living room floor has been naked for a year now. Everytime I would think that I found “the” rug it would be way out of my price range or discontinued. So frustrating.
A couple of weeks ago I received the latest catalog from Pottery Barn Teen and yet again met the one:
This time everything went as planned and it’s finally mine all mine! It arrived on Saturday and I was itching to place it right away, but errands called and it’s now Monday morning and it’s still in the wrapping. Don’t worry I plan on placing it in it’s new home today and will takes loads of reveal shots.

Yes!! That is a beautiful rug! We just recently found the perfect rug for our living room after months and MONTHS of looking and waiting and it is so worth it. Can’t wait to see it in your living room!
