I simply adore Daniela from Aestheic Oiseau! We come from similar backgrounds and enjoy the same design style plus her name is also my youngest sister’s name, which is what got us talking in the first place.
Last week I was in awe when I saw a peek of a her kitchen.
After a little elbow grease take a peek at the after:
Stunning! Best part? It’s not wallpaper, but fabric! I’ve been dying to try this technique out in a space, but I have yet to have the chance so it was great to see her tackle it and provide us with steps & pictures along the way.
Bravo!

What an inspiring space! I used fabric on a wall in a house I rented. I managed to make it appear like wallpaper, although it was fabulous when I moved out because it came easily off the wall. I used large strips to put it on the wall and hid tacks in the seams.
I’ve been wanting to try this…off to see the steps! It looks fantastic! Happy holidays, Janell
I too found this to be amazing! Mouth dropping. I wish I had the guts to just try it out and see if I could make it work.
Thanks, Camila!! Thinking about you and can’t wait to hear the news
I love this idea — my mom recently tried it in a large closet that she turned into a entryway nook, it looks great!
Great treatment. Love the pattern, fits perfectly with her kitchen.
Camila thank you for featuring Daniela! Isn’t that the greatest idea; the fabric walls!

Her kitchen has so much punch with that fabric – it looks beautiful! I’m off to check out the steps too!
Amazing!! I think that fabric is killer, the colors are so vibrant.
I need to really read through this. I live in an apt. where I can’t paint and have been wanting to do something in my entry. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, I like that transformation! Wished I could come up with a solution of how to add color to the white subway tiles we chose for our remodeled kitchen 2 or 3 yrs. ago. Loved the Quartz countertop, we only replaced the tile and countertop. I hate the blah, white look but the quartz countertop ate up our budget, so we settled for just the plain, subway tiles. Any suggestion how I can jazz that blah looking tile up without damaging it? A friend suggested decals, applied sparingly to add color. What would that involve if we wanted to remove the decals? Anybody know have any other ideas? There is a pass through window over the kitchen sink that goes to the sunroom and I’ve thought about useing a colored valance on a tension type rod and making picking up color in other things we might use on the counter, but I don’t want my counters cluttered. I never liked red before but have seen a lot of fabrics and wallpaper that are making me change my mind.
