Ok so this is still baby post, but I swear it has to do with design as well. Hudson’s nursery is slowly on it’s way to be finished. We are hoping to finish up the changing nook this weekend and then we are just waiting on items to be finished from my seamstress.
One of the items on my list that I’ve been able to check off since I got home from the hospital is artwork. Since we have our own abstract art shop we knew we would be making a large piece for our little man, but I still wanted another piece of original artwork in the space and I knew exactly who I wanted it from.
Oh I just love them all! They have always been a little over my price point so I’ve never actually pulled the trigger and bought on. However a couple of weeks ago all of the pieces in her shop were on sale for 20% off so momma bought herself a piece for Hudson’s room.
It arrived the other day and I’m even more in love:
Obsessed! The funny is that I actually just sold a painting in our art shop and used the funds from that to purchase Linda’s piece from her etsy shop.
If an original piece of art is not in your price point don’t fret, because Linda also sells prints here.
I now have my eye on a print of this piece:
The best part with the prints is that you can get it in paper, canvas, acrylic or greeting card and get it in a huge range of sizes!
Omg, how gorgeous! I’m in love. These would be great for an adult bedroom, as well. What a great way to engage your little one’s attention and spark their imagination!
Oh my gosh, thank you so much for blogging about this. I’m alway looking for Abstract artist and just love every piece of her work. I’m completely buying one, now which…?

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

I love her use of color! And I love it when artists offer alternative forms of their art, for the rest of us 🙂

Just stunning work….
Can’t wait to see the nursery.
