Darling dots…

There is nothing more classic then a polka dot. I not only enjoy them in my home decor, but in fashion as well. Here are some of my favorite picks:

1. Polka dot floppy hat to protect you from those sunny rays.
2.Polka dot ruffle scarf for when it gets a bit windy on my daily walks with Hudson.
3.Polka dot photography that looks like it’s meant to be part of a spread in LONNY.
4.Eye liner for when I only have 2 mins to do my make-up.
5.Dot to Dot stud earrings for when we need to frost ourselves.
6.Black dot artwork, which is crazy expensive, but can be used as inspiration for a DIY piece of your own.
7. Polka dot heels for the rare occasion for when I wear something other than flats.
8. I would love a room in my house to be full of either little dots or big dots.
9.Outdoor pillows, because your backyard needs a little love too.
10. A different take on the classic polka dot. This rug could work in some many different spaces. Endless possibilities.

One thing to remember with polka dots is that less is more. Give some thought to where you are going to use it in both design and fashion before getting lost in spots. When there are too many dots you can easily get a bit cheesy or childish especially when you are working with black and white variety.

Lovely combination! the hat, the scarf and the outdoor pillows are screaming my name.
Quick question, how do you create this collage like cluster of images. When I have loads of photos to put on my blog I currently have to post individual pics. That just takes a longer time. This collage-like method, would make things pretty simpler. Thanks.
