HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

I constantly dream about striped floors. I first fell in love with them during a visit to Kate Spade a while back. Then I spotted them again in a booth Style at Home designed: My love affair continued and most recently I saw them featured in an issue of Better Homes and Gardens: Now to […]

Rainbow Stripes

I practically live in ballerina flats, so when I spotted these beauties in stripes, with contrasting colors and bows I had to share. {Citron & Coral} {Peach & Navy} {Black & Red} {Purple & Pink} They are only $24 and pretty nice quality. My post preggo feet are in that weird stage where I’m not […]

Do you guys remember this nursery reveal post? I took a room that looked like this: And make it look like this: The original blue glider got moved into my clients son’s room and this new Jennifer Delonge Original Luxe Glider in linen (color: Stone) was ordered in it’s place. It retails for $1,100 plus […]

Jennifer Delonge Original Luxe Glider for sale!

I could spend $3,000 and pick up this beautiful Madeline Weinrib Tibetan Brooke Rug, but then I would have no more money to decorate the rest of the room. Or I could just spend $372.29and still have money in the bank with this look for less option: Now I still have total love and devotion […]

Treat yo self: Hat’s off!

A couple of months ago I started to work on a former clients basement. It’s almost finished with all of the main pieces sorted out  and it’s now time to finish up with accessories. Until the final photos are ready I thought I would share one of my favorite parts of the space. When you […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
