I started the weekend off on the right foot with my weigh in and meeting at Weight Watchers.
I lost 1.6 this week! Woo-hoo! I wish I had bigger loses every week, but at least I keep losing so I must stay positive.
Then I headed out to an install and hung up this amazing map from Kimberly at Third Floor Studio. Kimberly was wonderful to work with and actually made the map for me in custom colors for the space.
Hudson has been gifted a ton of stuffed animals. They are all so sweet looking, but we don’t have a lot of space for them. I knew right away I wanted a toy chain. I remember having one when I was little, but hadn’t seem them in awhile. In the package they are not the chicest item, but when they get full of toys they look adorable.
{ We are working on a custom piece of art for Hudson’s room, but in the mean time we decided to show Wild Card some love and it works really well in the space.}
Hudson also went to hang out with his Grandpa and watch the Chelsea soccer game. Of course I was trying to take a candid shot and my Dad caught on. 🙂
Sunday was just as pretty so we decided to head out for a walk first thing in the morning. I found some stylish shades in my house and decided to give them a whirl.
{Finders keepers? 🙂 I’m guessing my sister left them at my house, but I’m sort of loving them. }
Hudson was just as stylish and went out on walk with his new hat that his Grandpa bought him.
We also added some nice plants to our front stoop. I originally wanted two poodle tier boxwood topiary, but they were on the pricey side. I found from in the $99-$149 price range, but since I don’t have a green thumb I was nervous to spent that much. Enter a hibiscus tree. They have a nice pouf on them which I wanted along with an exposed branch and a $30 price tag! I picked them up at my local nursery, but I also saw them at Stop & Shop for $30. I also found some budget friendly extra large planters at Big Lots for $20.
To finish up the little facelift with a new door mat. Our new stoop is really large, which is great, but I was having a hard time finding something big enough for the space. During a recent trip to IKEA I picked up two of these doormats and butted them up together and they look perfect and the seams match.
Just lovely. I hope you all had a great weekend as well! What were you up to?
I was in Orlando at my baby shower hosted by my spouse’s family. Great weather, good times! Yesterday we spent the day at the beach with friends. Mostly got a good tan with some random burnt sections I missed putting sunscreen on. Whoops!

Good for you for stay disciplined with Weight Watchers…but you already look lovely in that coral dress! And I’m crazy for your front door topiaries…wish I wasn’t in an apartment and could get some myself!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

I absolutely LOVE the world map! What a great find.
I’m a fellow Weight Watcher and I’m at 42 lbs down. I got here buy adding up lots of weeks with 1.6 lb losses so don’t be disappointed! You can do it!

The map is absolutely to die for. As well as your adorable house!
Hey that map print looks familiar! 🙂 Thanks for your sweet words. Your house is soo cute — love the green additions!
Love the ‘butted’ matts. How did you do it? It’d be perfect for my patio.
I simply placed them next to each other. The patterns meet perfectly all on their own so it looks like one large mat.
