I’m off on vacation, but while I’m gone I decided to spotlight one of my new favorite bloggers that I hope you enjoy as well. I reached out to some of my favs and asked them to share with my readers what effortless style means to them.

I recently started to expand my blog reading to more fashion oriented sites. That is how I came upon Christine that authors the blog, Court + Hudson. She had me at Hudson! If you love jewelry DIY projects that she must be added to your blog roll immediately.Take a peek at her effortless style.

Hi all – I’m Christine from court + hudson. While Camila is off relaxing I’m popping over to share a bit of my effortless style. If you’re a reader of my site, you know I love color – in my wardrobe, on my nails and in my home! Two years ago I decided my husband and I needed more storage for our apartment and scoured Craigslist on a thrice daily basis looking for the perfect solution. Enter a gorgeous, but horrifically painted yellow armoire. After nine flights of stairs (up and down a 4th floor walkup and then up our own fourth floor brownstone) this little lady was ALL mine. After much debating at the paint store, it was my husband that actually decided on this shocking fuchsia shade. After a ton of elbow grease, we finally have this piece where we want it. Anyone that comes into our home instantly comments on the armoire – and the fact that it matches my signature shade of lip color! It really doesn’t get more effortless than when you subconsciously paint furniture the same color as something that suits your personal style so well. Do you ever find similarities in your personal and decor style?

I totally agree with Christine that in order to explore effortless style in your home decor it is best to take note of your personal style. I constantly find myself drawn to home decor items that match up with my closet. It is a great way to have your home reflect you! How amazing is that fuchsia shade on her armoire. Totally reminds me of foot loose by Essie, which is currently gracing my toes.

Love the hot pink!
