I’m off on vacation, but while I’m gone I decided to spotlight one of my new favorite bloggers that I hope you enjoy as well. I reached out to some of my favs and asked them to share with my readers what effortless style means to them.

Thanks for having me over today, Camila! I am so happy to be here posting about my own personal “effortless style.” My blog name is The Peak of Très Chic and I think that encompasses my style well. I am naturally drawn to French details, and tend to stick to a more neutral, chic aesthetic. Here are a few snapshots from my living room that I think help show my style:
I love choosing furniture in neutrals and then adding in pops of color through accessories. I also love for a room to have a collected vibe- as if items were found at flea markets or on travels and have been gathered over time. I never want a room to feel too sterile or too “decorated.” Like I said above, I love French-style furniture, and when I found this wing back chair at an antique store, I had to have it!
Here are a few shots of my bedroom:
This is my bedside table. I love glam elements, but felt that an entire mirrored piece wouldn’t work well with the overall decor of my bedroom. I found this piece with mirrored drawers and painted/restored wood and felt it was the perfect balance.
I added in pops of pinks and turquoise through my pillows, drapery, lamp, and quilt. My lamp is actually from Hobby Lobby, but I repainted the base and added a new shade.

Thanks Sam! I tend to be a bit color happy when it comes to my own decor so I’m always happy to see a neutral space done right. It gives my eyes a rest and really helps me appreciate all of the cool pieces in a space.
