Scenes from my weekend….

This weekend we made a ton of progress and knocked off a ton of items off my to-do list.

When I decided to move my office settee to Hudson’s nursery I was left with a pretty blank slate in my office.

{Don’t worry we had it recovered for the little man.}

We moved our daybed into the settee space in my office and it needs some fabric and this weekend I finalized a new old fabric for my office:

{Vintage find from West Palm Beach.}

Then we worked on Hudson’s nursery and took this dentil valance from this:

To this:

To finally this finished product:

After all of that work we needed to treat ourselves to some cookies:

I also added some more pieces to the massive gallery wall in our teeny half bathroom:

We also finished up a DIY lucite shadowbox project for one of Hudson’s newborn outfits:

After all of that work we decided to relax on Sunday and hit the beach where my two men decided to do a little fishing.

{Seriously, is this not the cutest thing?}

Last night ended with a wonderful surprise when I found out I had snagged a ticket to the NY Alt Summit after party being held at Martha Stewart headquarters. (Speaking of Martha have you headed over to check out this sale inspired by the Queen herself?)

I’m still bummed I wasn’t able to get into the summit for the lectures, but it’s amazing that I can still enjoy a bit of it.

Anyone else headed to Alt this week?

I’m off at the gift show today, but stay tuned for posts on the show, diy posts on the projects featured above and my thrift store hit list from West Palm Beach.

    Hey Camila!

    So glad you snagged a spot to the Alt Party! Doesn’t it sound like fun? I got lucky too, and will be there for the day & then the party. I don’t know if you remember, but a few years back, you were so kind to me by inviting me to Shecky’s Beauty Night Out & then sharing your goody bag! :)
    Well, looking forward to Thursday!!

    your little boy is just adoreable. my little fella is 7 months old and time is flying. I love to come to your site for inspiration. you are always tackling great projects and challenging me in my design business to continue to think out of the box. I must know how you did the diy lucite box!! I am wanting to “frame” an outfit of my baby’s as well as our christening gown.
