Vintage tole chandeliers are made of metal and hand-painted. They were made extremely chic and popular due to the Palm Beach style that I adore.
One of my favorite rooms with a vintage tole chandelier is kitchen designed by Ruthie Sommers:
You can find them on ebay and they typically start out at a great low price, but once the bidding starts they tend to go up quite a bit.
I was so happy to find a new tole chandelier that gave them the same classic palm beach style at an affordable price point.
Leave it as if, paint it a whole new color or perhaps just paint the flower petals and leafs at $140 it fits into most budgets at a steal!

Sharing this amazing find– what a gem! Order one and test-drive the quality for us!
I just specified this light for a little girl’s bedroom. It came yesterday but I haven’t opened yet. We’re spraying it gold and finishing it with some hot pink rick rack trimmed shades. I can’t wait! Here’s the whole room plan: http://honeyandfitz.blogspot.com/2012/10/miss-chloes-mermaid-inspired-big-girl.html?m=1
Great find! Oh Overstock, you’re a lifesaver…
