Yet again another weekend has come and gone way too quickly. Here is what we were up to.
Like all exciting weekends we kicked off ours at Home Depot Friday evening:
{We had to get some supplies for picking up a shed and Hudson decided he needed a little something too 🙂 }
I also need some paint swatches for a client so Hudson helped me with that as well:
Here is what we ended up with:
{Navy, mint, coral, cream, light grey oh my! }
On Saturday most of my day was spent at a bridal shower for Hudson’s godmother:
I decided to get a little more use out of my baby shower dress:
{Necklace from Keti Sorely and is only $28. P.S. Get 10% off if you follow them on facebook.}
While Spring was in the air a bit this weekend it was still windy so I put a little pep in my step with some bold pink tights:
Of course my favorite part was the yummy desserts:
{Instead of a cake they have loads of funfetti cupcakes making up a wedding dress shape. So pretty!}
I got a happy surprise when I arrived home. A fun day with a package from Waiting on Martha!Did you happen to catch her In her shoes feature?
{Any guesses on what I got?}
Once I got home I spent the rest of the day figuring out a gallery wall installation in our 2nd floor hall way:
We spent Sunday morning reading books:
Plus laying on the floor with Hudson like we were one of the dogs and starring up at the ceiling:
{So happy I grassclothed the ceilings. Still love them.}
I also worked on a little photo shoot for the blog:
Along with some client work:
Ran an errand to Target for some essentials and of course ended up in the jewelry dept:
{Who doesn’t love a bejeweled animal charm?}
I also got some lovely thank you flowers from my sissy and enjoyed arranging them in my one of favorite vases:
So sad to hear about the passing of Lilly Pulitzer.I have always loved their colorful frocks full of bright hues and patterns. Such an inspiration. I try to inject a bit of Lilly in all of the rooms in my home.
{Peek at my vintage Lilly dress that was a lucky score at a thrift shop. Love the scalloped neckline on it.}
Whew! I’m exhausted just recapping it all for you. What were you up to? Has Spring weather already hit your area?
LOVE that necklace! What size is that? 16″ or 18″? I’m so bad at that sort of thing. Um, and that wrong length can make one look….. ahem….. out of date.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
The color scheme you picked out for your client is the paint scheme in my home! Love the navy, mint, color, and white combo! Fresh and fun!
What a fun weekend, I love all the bright colors 🙂 Spring is definitely here!
LOVE that necklace! What size is that? 16″ or 18″? I’m so bad at that sort of thing. Um, and that wrong length can make one look….. ahem….. out of date.
What is the brand of paint and actual name of the grey? I want to use the color scheme in a gameroom I am decorating.
