HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

Our weekend started out with a little work. We were all out the door by 9:30 to head to a clients house and snap some photos for my portfolio. Here is a little peek: Afterwards we headed to a nearby park where Hudson got to get some energy out, Ash got his bottle and Jon […]

Scenes from my weekend…

{Enjoying a little midnight snack. Only 70 calories per cone.} This week: -We delayed bedtime one night in order to go out and pick up some ice cream. Such a fun thing to do during the summer and it’s even better now that Hudson actually enjoys ice cream and gets really excited to pick some […]

Treat Yo Self: Mexican Fabric

My entire house is full of color. I truly live colorfully, but sometimes your head just wants a bit of white/neutral space to be in. That’s when being a decorator is so helpful. Just because I don’t have it in my own home doesn’t mean I can’t live out my current love for neutrals in […]

Style Plan: Design Love Fest Bedroom

A little dose of gold is something that will always be around in home design trends. Typically gold is left hardware like cabinet pulls or framing for mirrors or photos, but if you are feeling a bit more daring you can make it more of statement by using it in the form of a table […]

Midas Touch: Gold Lamp Round Up

Hi All, Hope you enjoyed the first official weekend of the summer! We enjoyed lots of time in our backyard doing a bunch of nothing, which is always nice, but boring to take pictures of. 🙂 We did head out on a couple of outings that I thought were photo worthy. Asher has been enjoying […]

Scenes from my weekend…

This week I…. Realized my summer can get properly started until I have this massive inflatable swan,or donut or pretzel.Let’s just forget that we only have a 6′ x 10′ inflatable pool in the backyard. Found out that hot pink extension cords exist and want to know Jon has never told me about this. Probably […]

Friday Finds…

Typically I only click over on those daily site emails when I’m on the hunt for something specific, but lately I’ve been opening them and get lured by all of those amazing deals. I’ve picked up goodies here and there and my front stoop has been rather busy with deliveries. Hudson actually thought the UPS […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
