This weekend was full of laundry, laundry and no laundry. I’m not kidding. With a little baby and a little guy that is potty trained, but still has some hiccups we have loads upon loads of laundry and on Saturday we stayed while it was chilly outside we stayed inside and got it all done. From sorting to washing and putting it all back. Pretty boring, but at least it all got done.
In between loads I did get to rest my feet for a bit and watch some movies with the boys. .
We did go out at night to celebrate Grandma Pavones’ birthday! Hudson must think that we have a birthday party every weekend, because last weekend was my mom’s birthday and before that we had celebrated Jon’s and his Dad’s birthday. The kid loves blowing out candles so he has been thrilled with all of the parties.
Of course birthday cake wasn’t enough for my sweet tooth and I enjoyed treating myself to my favorite ice cream! Yay for cheating on my diet on the weekends!!!!
On Sunday it was even colder out and shockingly we still had laundry to finish! We did enjoy a sweet early breakfast treat as we tested out the new croissant donut from Dunkin’ Donuts. So yummy!
We didn’t have any plans for the rest of the day when we got a happy surprise. My sister was going to be in town for a little so the whole family meet up for lunch.
My sister always comes bearing gifts and today wasn’t any different. She had worked an event earlier in the week and surprised with a treat from gift bag!
Asher was rocking some faux shoes today and enjoyed some snuggles with his Auntie.
After lunch I ran into Lowes to pick up some blinds and stumbled upon these cute curtain panels for only $12 a panel.
Both boys fell asleep on the way home and we took advantage and started a fire and got snuggle in front of it for about 15 mins before both of them woke up! Ah it was nice while it lasted.
The rest of the day was spent in our family room playing with the boys. Hudson took out every single car he owns and ran lots of races and Asher wanted in on all of the action. He loves grabbing Hudson’s head.
I ended the evening cleaning out my fabric closet. It was a mess and needed to be organized. It took a while, but was worth it. I even found some extra wide cobalt ribbon I had forgotten I even owned. Love when that happens! It works perfectly with a fabric I am toying with using in my office.
Our night ended in bed watching Home Alone before Hudson’s bedtime. How great is that movie! We all love it here. Especially getting to see their beautiful home. Talk about dream home!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
