Hudson loves to help me out in the kitchen. He is a huge fan of making meatballs and baking cookies. When I was planning his party I knew I wanted to make it about all of things he loved instead of a theme. Cookies had to be involved and the idea of hot oven on in the kitchen with lots of little kids didn’t seem ideal, which meant we just did decorating instead. For our favors I knew right away that we needed aprons and I wanted them on a budget.
Here is what you’ll need:
I got the idea for these aprons from Say Yes.I just added a little of my own touches.
The stickers for the personalization are adorable, but so not sticky. I had to apply crazy glue to get them to stay in place.
I wanted to stick with the baking theme so instead of applying my ribbon with hot glue I stitched them on with bakers twine. A little touch, but it makes me giddy.
This project was super inexpensive, but it was timely. I only had to make 8 of them and it took around 2.5 hours from start to finish.
