This past weekend one of my design clients let me use their beach house for the weekend! Thanks Lydia and Adam! It was amazing! I went to check on design progress, but the whole gang came with me and we enjoyed everything Orient had to offer.
We ate yummy baked goods at Blue Duck Bakery.
We walked the dock in Greenport many, many, times. Got to get those steps in!
Even their resale/consignment shops are super chic. Isn’t the storefront for The Clearing House perfection!
We had a bite at First and South. I loved all of the decor and the food was wonderful as well. The cheese fries are a must have!
The boys enjoyed the carousel.
I also popped into Lydia’s Antiques that was jam packed literally from floor to ceiling with finds.
We wandered around the lavender fields at Lavender by the Bay.
I may or may not have purchased 4 slices of pie at Four & Twenty Blackbirds bakery. What? I need to test out all of my favorite flavors. 🙂
We also did a good amount of driving around to check out houses for sale. In an ideal world we would love a beach house of our own at some point. Found lots of diamonds in the rough, but this one is my favorite!
Of course we also enjoyed some time at the private beach at the house. Sweet deal to have a beach all to yourself! Asher loved it. Let’s face it we all loved it. Hudson has already been asking when we can go back to “our” beach house.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend! It was nice to get away. With two kids though and lots of emotions two days away felt like more than enough for us. We are exhausted!
