I love this little blog world of mine. It has seriously helped me connect with so many people throughout the globe that have the same passions as me. I’m pretty sure I could travel mostly anywhere and “know” someone through blog reading. The only sad part about blogging is that a lot of our connecting is done digitally, but every once in a while we do get to meet in person. While I was at Haven I was pretty sure I didn’t know a soul. I had never been to Haven before and others looked like they had come since it’s inception. I’ve been blogging for 7 years now and the norm at Haven was around 3 years so many new to me bloggers. Just when I thought a didn’t know a soul I saw this lady in her t-shirt, blazer and heels and knew right away that it was Jenna from Rain on a Tin Roof. We immediately hugged and were completely excited to have met.
Jenna has always been a big supporter of mine. She comments a lot of my blog posts and shouts me out on social media when she sees my name in a print magazine and she is super proud. That’s amazing support and something every blogger needs. Jenna just launched a new e-book called, Standing Out and I quickly devoured it. I have been around the blog world for a long time and thought I knew it all, but after reading the book I picked up so many new tips!
If you are new blogger that is still figuring it all out then this is the blogging bible for you. It literally has everything you need to know about setting one up, the in’s and outs of wordpress, finding your voice, becoming part of a blog tribe, etc.
I learned so much about the dashboard of my wordpress blog in easy to understand terms. I love wordpress, but honestly I know I don’t use it to it’s full capacity and now I will. Jenna is always amazing with Pinterest and while I’m a fan of pinterest and wandering around it for hours I really don’t like promoting myself on pinterest and I totally should. Now I have all the tips to make my posts a bit more pinterest friendly.
It’s over 170 pages of blogging goodness. Pick up your copy for only $30.
So happy and proud to be Jenna’s cheerleader today.
