Ok, I hope you guys aren’t tired yet of my Tulum vacation recap. Hopefully you are enduring the snow like me and it’s a nice little escape. There was just so much to photograph and share with you all!
If you are like me than you simply eat dinner to get to dessert. I have a total sweet tooth and one day when we were driving through Tulum Centro I saw a sign for a creamery! I loved the branding and told Jon that we needed to stop and quick it out. I’m a marketers dream. Pretty font and display on your branding and I’m hooked without even trying the product. Luckily this product did not disappoint.
Whenever I’m on vacation I tend to get hooked on one food item. From our honeymoon in St. Lucia I was obsessed with the bread at our hotel, from our trip to Costa Rica I feel hard with a pie, and now from Tulum I will always think fondly of this gelato and try to figure out ways that all of the above can be mailed to me.
Take a peek at why I was obsessed:
I loved all of the flavors I tried, yes that’s plural, because we couldn’t go just once. The homemade waffles were an extra treat we enjoyed. Hands down some of the best ice cream/gelato I have ever had.
My other favorite sweet spot was Bolas De Postre aka Balls of Dessert. This shop is a bit hidden, but from the road you can see a cool awning they have made out of old VW car hoods. The whole shop is constructed out of vintage car parts. Even if you don’t go for ice cream it’s an amazing place for photos.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
Oh how fun! that ice cream on a waffle really has me!
Those are no ordinary waffles under the gelato either! Also a multi trip visitor to Campanellas, will have to find Las Bolas next time I visit!
