I hope you all enjoyed the bridal shower photos. It was such a fun event to plan and I knew you would all enjoy the aesthetics of the venue.
One detail that I wanted to go into more was the invitation. Invitations set the tone for any party and this was no different. I spent days pouring through options on etsy. At the end of the day I couldn’t even make the final decision because I had so many favorites. This is where it’s super handy to have a co-maid of honor. Daniela picked out the option that was the most fitting for the event. The bride loves glitter and gold and one of her wedding colors is blush so this invitation was the clear winner for her.
Wouldn’t you agree?
Lindsay from Sea Paper Design was a dream to work with! She was super prompt responding to my questions and the quality was amazing. I also had her handle the printing and I was a bit nervous about not taking that on myself, because I’m a bit of a paper snob and I wanted to make sure it was thick enough. No flimsy paper here! Lindsay totally got where I was coming from and recommended the best option to go with for thickness. We went with matte.
Since I’m all about the details I couldn’t just use a plain old white envelopes. I ordered contrasting color envelopes in seafoam and then added gold glitter liners to match the gold font on the invites.
