My baby sister is a single girl living in Manhattan. When we were working on her apartment I knew I had the ability to get a little more girly in the decor than I typically do with a client. Don’t worry I didn’t go around throwing pink and glitter everywhere, but I did have fun when it came time to do a gallery wall. A couple of months ago I fell in love with the work of Maren from Maren Devine Art! She paints beautiful pieces that are full of color, which you know I adore. She paints abstracts and in the mix you will find abstract landscapes, floral centerpieces, fruit and warrior girls! What could be more fitting for a girl pad than a wall full of warrior girls! Hello, immediate new friendly roommates. 🙂
The hardest part in getting the gallery wall going was picking out which warrior girls I would be putting in the space. I had so many favorites!
Here is what I finally came up with:
I put them all of the floor and played around with a couple of different layouts before placing them on the wall. I didn’t want a rigid gallery wall, which meant I ordered an odd number of prints and went with a variety of sizes.
If you are interested in the Warrior Girls featured in this gallery wall here are their names:
Warrior Girl, Zoe – 8 x 10
Warrior Girl, Blanche – 12″ x 15″
Warrior Girl, Lena – 8″ x 10″
Warrior Girl, Gabby -8″ x 10″
Warrior Girl, Ruthie 12″ x 15″
Warrior Girl, Peg 11″ x 14″
Warrior Girl, Sara 12″ x 12″
Warrior Girl, Fiona 11″ x 14″
Modern Frida 11″ x 14″
I’m so happy with how it all turned out! Stay tuned for a full apartment reveal!
