Such a cute room and thanks for the link to Mintwood Home. That white entry chest would be so cute painted in high gloss navy with brass knobs to add some color to that all white area. Your sister is very lucky to have your help.

This is goooorgeous…love the blue velvet with the brass…I just took the plunge and ordered the sloan sectional but in a light gray (the “earth” with brass legs) and i CANNOT wait to get it! (only like, 10 weeks to go! lol)

My fiance is so picky about cushiness and comfort, so that’s why I’m doing my due diligence to read reviews and make sure its the one!

So may I ask – on a scale from like 1-10, 10 being super soft, just how soft or firm are those bottom cushions?

    Thanks in advanced 🙂

I wrote a whole comment but it disappeared!!!

Anyway – the long and short of it is that I love the blue velvet with brass combo! Gorgeous 🙂

I myself ordered this sectional just a couple weeks ago….and I’m still paranoid about the level of comfort on those cushions!! May I ask – on a scale from 1-10 (10 being very soft), how cushy are those bottom cushions to sit on???

I know I will love the look and i CANT WAIT to get it delivered, I just want some peace of mind comfort wise!

    Thank you in advanced 🙂

      Hi Isabelle,

It looks like both of your comments went thru. It’s very comfortable. The back cushions are softer than the seat cushions. The seat cushions are super soft and comfy to lay on, but you aren’t going to sink into them. They are still firm, which I like because it holds up it’s shape longer. You aren’t going to get any sagging. It’s also nice that the back cushions can be flipped. So I rotate them whenever I’m at my sister’s apartment so, that they don’t lose their shape since they are softer. I’m pretty obsessed with it. The color is perfection and it looks so chic and high end.

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
