As the years have progressed my interactions with fellow bloggers has moved from the digital world to the real world. So much fun! I wish all of my blog friends lived close by! A couple of months ago Ashlina from The Decorista moved to NYC and I was so happy to have her close by. She was always sweet via email, but in person she is even better if that’s possible.

I’ve been searching for purchasing information on the book, but I have yet to find it. Once I find it I will post details. I must get my hands on a copy!

As a new mommy I find myself with my hands full when I leave the house so I haven’t really rocking a handbag, but a diaper bag instead. Don’t get me wrong I have a pretty chic one, but I still need something that I can easily grab out of it with my personal items.

How sweet are my sisters? For Christmas this year they gifted me with this blingy cocktail ring from Kate Spade. It’s there year of color December ring and it was in honor of Hudson’s birth. I love it! Now if only my fingers would shrink back to size I would be a happy lady.

We have also tackled building our own completely upholstered bed:

Both projects were easy, but the second one required a lot tools that many people don’t own.

Today I found a great website called Ready to Cover where you can purchase a wooden headboard precut and on legs. This cuts some of the steps out in most of the DIY headboards out there and helps you if you don’t have certain tools.

We had some client work to do on Saturday, but Sunday was purely a family day were we got to relax and enjoy each other.

Of course I need to share some Hudson pictures.

We had to show off his new elephant outfit:

I also managed to get our bedroom a bit organized and got enjoy a new furniture piece that we finished revamping a little bit before Hudson was born.

{We actually purchased two of these chests at our local thrift store. One is in our room with Hudson’s clothes since he is currently sleeping in our room and the matching chest is in his nursery.}

Well little Mr. Hudson

has taken over the space with all of his items that he can’t use yet:

Ah it’s driving me mad! Plus I keep losing them in the pit that I call my office. Not bueno. My weekend plans are to hopefully clean it up and having it looking more respectable and stylish like Amanda Teal’s office:
