Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Why oh why do they go by so fast? I feel like it was just Friday night and now Monday is upon us.
This weekend started with a box of goodies arriving from Anthropologie! I love their sale section and went a little click happy last week and 3 separate boxes have arrived in the last couple of days.
We also had a birthday party to attend and Hudson had a blast going down their slide a million and one times:
Along with having some one and one time with the family dog, Benson:
The sweet birthday girl enjoy her 1st birthday cake!
Sunday morning I took some time to clean up the house and put my new Teil Duncanin it’s new home:
Then we headed off to another birthday celebration! My youngest sister, Daniela turned 27 earlier in the week and on Sunday the whole family was together to celebrate her!
{So, happy I have her home now and don’t have to communicate via skype anymore.}
Hudson was in a loving mood at lunch and decided his Daddy needed lots of smooches:
Afterwards we headed to our house for some dessert. The birthday girl requested the latest dessert craze in NY, Treat House:
Treat house is known for their creative rice krispy bars. They have a variety of different flavors and we were all excited to check them out.
They are beautiful looking and their branding is equally as beautiful so I wanted to love them, but I’m on the fence. Some flavors were really good and others were just blah. Regardless they were fun to eat and gave me some good ideas for ways to dress up Rice Krispy treats.
{Happy Birthday Danay!}
By the end of the day the birthday girl was exhausted. I was helping my mom with some work so I left Danay in charge of Hudson. A couple mins later I turned over to check out my little guy and saw this:
{Bubble Guppies to the rescue again. Hudson enjoyed an episode while his Auntie took a cat nap and used my fabric as a blanket. ;)}

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
Gourmet rice Krispy treats?! How fun!!
