Mother’s day is quickly approaching. Around these parts the beginning of May is a little nutty. We always have Mother’s day and my birthday right around each other and since Ash was born we have his birthday as well. Ash was actually born the day after me! So, I have already been stressing about what to get my own momma for Mother’s day.
Here are some goodies I think any mother would love!
No.1 : I love getting books as gifts and for me there is nothing better than a design book. It is always full of amazing photos that inspire you and let’s face it they always have great covers. On my radar is Bright Bazaars Dream Decor book. I can’t wait to get my hands on this baby.
No.2 : Small casegoods are always a win in my book as well. I love having a little pouch for change or to put my credit card and drivers license and call it a day. As a mom we have so much stuff to carry, but that having a little home for our important cards is essential for an outing. Love piece by K. Slademade.
No.3 : While I think heels are super pretty most of the time I’m in flats. My latest obsession has been slip on sneakers. Not sure why they call them sneakers since they are much dressier, but regardless I love them. I have a pair, my mom has a pair and yesterday at a meeting my client was wearing a pair. Love this pair. It would go with anything!
No.4 : Make up can be hard to gift, because so many variables go into what works on a persons skin tone, but a neutral lip gloss is always a win. Even ladies that don’t wear lipstick typically enough a gloss with some some shine. Love these from Bobbie Brown because not only is it a high gloss, but it has Jojoba and Avocado Oils for immediate hydration, plus Vitamins C and E and aloe extract.
No.5 : I have seen beaded tassel earrings all over my instagram feed, but they can be a bit pricey. The cheapest option I had found was $99. So, imagine my excitement when I found these for $44.
No.6 : I think these agate nightlights are the perfect gifts for the person that has everything! They are only $20 and so chic! I don’t know about you, but I always stumble into something while I’m walking at night. So, I would use this in my bathroom.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
