A couple of weeks ago I saw a posting in a facebook group that I’m a part of and the buzz was all about 2 ingredient dough, which if you are on Weight Watchers it’s very points friendly! I kept seeing it pop up but as a true bagel lover and I wasn’t 100 percent sold that it would actually taste like a bagel! The recipe only calls for 0% greek yogurt and self-rising flour. That’s it! Then you can dress it up however you like! I finally decided it to try the recipe and let me tell you they are amazing! Even Jon and the boys agree!
After making a couple of batches of plain bagels I decided to play around and came up with my version of cinnamon crunch bagels.
Step 1: Mix together 1 cup of 0% greek yogurt and 1 cup self rising flour. I found it easiest to mix together with your hands. If the dough gets too sticky just flour your hands so, that it doesn’t stick to them.
Step 2: If you want plain bagels that’s all you need to do. For the cinnamon crunch version add 1 tablespoon of a cinnamon sugar mix. I used more cinnamon than sugar, because I just wanted the taste of the cinnamon spice and not a lot of sugar. Knead it in.
Step 3: Make one round ball and cut it into 4 equal parts.
Step 4: Take your 4 pieces and form each one into a ball.
Step 5: Now just use your thumb to make a hole in the middle of the ball to get your bagel form. The bagels will puff up during baking and my holes kept closing up. In order to prevent this I formed balls out of aluminum foil and greased them so that they would easily pop out after baking.
Step 7: Line baking sheets with parchment paper bake at 400 for 20-25 mins.
Enjoy!!! I love to toast them and have them with a little cream cheese, but they are also yummy plain.
You must try them out! So easy to make and delicious tasting. Picking up 0% greek yogurt and self rising flour has now become a staple for me during supermarket trips.
Really liked this recipe. Helps me with my morning bagel/muffin craving! I sifted the cinnamon sugar in with the flour and added 1/4 raisins. I also did not have the churro so left this out. I didn’t bother with the hole in the middle and they still looked good! Thank you!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
These look amazing! Do you know a good substitute for the Trader Joe’s Churro Bites? I don’t have a Trader Joe’s near me. Thanks
Oh I’m not sure. Let me look into it and see if I can find something.
I wonder if you could use Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal? Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Oh! That is an excellent idea!
I made them with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Yum!
Making these tomorrow! I’ve made the plain bagels, with sesame seeds on top, but cinnamon crunch is my favorite!
Oh sesame seeds sounds amazing! I need to try and make some!
How many SmartPoints?
It’s between 2-3 smart points. All depends on how big you make your bagel and how much of the churro you sprinkle on top.
Really liked this recipe. Helps me with my morning bagel/muffin craving! I sifted the cinnamon sugar in with the flour and added 1/4 raisins. I also did not have the churro so left this out. I didn’t bother with the hole in the middle and they still looked good! Thank you!
How can I print this recipe. Have tried but without success
I’m sorry it’s not a recipe file. I think if you screen shot it you should be able to print it out.
Can these be made in air fryer and if so what would the conversion be? Thank you
I’m so sorry, but I don’t have an air fryer. Not sure how it work exactly.
try 320 for 13 minutes with an air fryer. my air fryer is 1500 watts
In the Air Fryer…..set at 340 for 7 minutes, flip them and 7 minutes on the other side.
Has anyone tried to use stevia instead of sugar for these?
