Another fun weekend in the books, but I’m exhausted!!! I need another weekend day or two.

Here is what we were up to:

I told you we are determined to enjoy the beach this summer so, off we went Saturday morning!

Within seconds our little beach area looked like this:

We also had a lot of fun playing in the sand. Except for poor Jon. Ash kept throwing sand at his face.

I made a cute little friend named, Timmy. He reminded me of my sweet Moo. Moo was a present that Jon bought me years ago for Christmas and he was our first baby. We adored him and a couple of years ago he passed away. He was a shih tzu just like Timmy who totally had the same face as Moo. The meeting had me itching for another pup.

In the afternoon we headed out to a birthday party where I swear Asher was having fun, but he had this pout going on during the dance party part and I just had to snap it.

On Sunday Hudson requested a BBQ so that he could have a little play date. We were happy to oblige since his play date friends are some of my favorite people as well. We spent the morning prepping for the BBQ. How adorable is this tee pee? It’s from Target’s Marimekko’s collection and it’s currently 70% off in stores! I picked it up for $30 bucks!

I had all intentions to style everything for the BBQ and have it picture perfect for a blog post, but then life got in the way. I decided to just enjoy the company and fun and not worry about styling or snapping the perfect photo. Trust me, the food was yummy and everyone had a blast.
