Go shopping!
I of course have started this fall season complaining with the eternal, ” I have nothing to wear!”
My husband completely does not understand the situation. He doesn’t understand why I say that every season and go shopping, but yet I’m never happy with what is in my closet. Ah men really are from Mars. At the beginning of the season I always clean out my closet and get rid of the, “what was I thinking” outfits along with things that just didn’t wash well or were too trendy to be repeated, which leaves me with an empty closet. I’ve been trying to go with more classic pieces in order to re-use them year after year.
Since it is late I decided to do some online window shopping. Banana Republic has some great deals online. I have things in my cart that I’m thinking of.
Right when I was about to go to bed I checked my email and see that I received an email from JCREW. I went online and fell in love with the above coat in Sour Lemon! Ah I go banana’s for it, but it’s final sale and I have no clue what size I would be. I can’t even go to the store and try it on, because it’s a catalog/online item only.
I’ll have to sleep on this decision. I’ll keep you posted.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
VERY cute!! I was actually having that same “I have nothing to wear!” panic this week! I really need to go shopping but have a tight budget! HELP!
Love that jacket…ruffles are so hot this year!
That is one beautiful coat. Mrs. Limestone is right. Ruffles are very in this season.
