Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very bad day!
Talk about a case of the Mondays!
I spent 7 hours yesterday working from home. Today I get in and I’m met with another huge pile of work, which means I’ll be working from home this evening. Plus I have yet to be told what my actual title is here and I’m going on almost 6 months but since I’m a little lady I must be an assistant. I feel like I stepped into an episode of Mad Men (without the cool wardrobe),because in this company I totally have the wrong equipment.
Only plus side is that I’m trying to do something to actually start the interior/event styling business I want to run and I ordered business cards. I haven’t picked out a company name yet, but at least they have my name and what I do on them. I totally need help from someone to show me the ropes, perhaps I can bribe Erin with some brownies and daily praise to be my uber cool mentor.
So now I’m just excited to hit the ground running and make a name for myself, which is making coming into this office everyday feel like torture!

So deep cleansing breath. I must calm down. Posting will be very light today. I hope to have something new posted this evening.

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Ahhh High Heeled I love the cards you pick is beautiful and now I can call you C which is great. Deep breathing is am awesome idea. Just keep stepping forward you will make it. You have amazing taste and soon will be stepping right out on those mad men.
