Ah! I’m completely stressed today. Way too much to do and all I truly want to do is blog.
Reasons why I’m having a case of the Mondays:
-I had friday off, which was great, but now I have a ton of things to do in the office.
-My car didn’t start this morning so now I’m stressed out over how much a repair is going to cost. Of course I just finished paying it off in Sept and now it decides not to work.
-I’m so excited about my new business venture, but now I want to spend all of my time working on that. I have many things that need to get finished in my home before I get pictures taken so I have a constant to-do list going on in my head.
– I need a photographer in the NY area that wants to be super sweet and shoot my home for very little $$$ and/ or brownies. This deal seemed to work well with Patrica at PVE. Do you know anyone starting out that needs pictures for their portfolio?
– I have many people to shop for and I didn’t really get anything done this weekend. Now it’s cyber monday and all I want to do at work is order gifts!
– I’m working on a gift guide that hopefully I’ll have part one up and running this evening. I’m working on gifts for Your not good enough for my son your Mother in law up first.
So please bare with me I should be up and running soon. Today is just a catch up day and things are quite busy.
I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving and extended weekend!
Did anyone get any great deals on Black Friday or today for Cyber Monday? Share!
We got some great deals! We bought a new flat screen for our room and twin laptops, so now we don’t have to fight over it! lol Circuit City had 36 month, no interest financing, so that made it all possible. I also got myself the iPod I’ve been saving for. Needless to say, Christmas morning will be giftless.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
OMG I NEED THE M-I-L gift guide PRONTO. I literally laughed out loud reading your scratched out text and yet, it’s so so true to my situation.
I, too, have a case of the Mondays!
hahaha, I’m dying laughing at the MIL part- so funny!!
