I use to love playing the game, MASH when I was younger. In it you got to figure out who you were going to marry, where you were going to live, how many kids you were going to have, what you were going to drive, what your career would be and most importantly would you live in a Mansion, Apartment, Shack, or House.
I was thinking about this game last night on my way home from work. I’ve had a couple of really stressful weeks with work getting busy and annoying and an extremely long to-do list that I’m not sure will ever get finished. I don’t think I’ve cooked dinner for my husband in over a month. Thankfully he doesn’t mind, but I still feel like a horrible wife.
I’ve been so busy that yesterday I didn’t even have time to post. When I got home from Christmas shopping at 10pm I still had office work to do from home and before I knew it the clock struck midnight.
So please join me in la la land and go back to a time when things were much easier and you got play a round of MASH and have your life figured out for you in a couple of seconds.
Oh I loved Mash. Very cute post. I know just how you feel, I am beyond stressed and just need to catch up. BTW- I too love your Mash husband….and Erika’s office!
One day I swear Erika will find me crouched in the corner of her office with my favorite belongings because I am moving in. Hopefully she won’t mind; she claims she’s my friend.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
omg MASH….I think the last time I played, all of the men I put down were professional hockey players…hmm..
I LOOVVE Erika’s office.
OMG, this is too funny! Isn’t Erika’s office amazing! I can’t even imagine how cool it would be to work in a space like that every day.
What a great office!!! Yes, used to play mash all the time- always wanted to have a white house haha. How are your plans looking for Sat? 🙂

Love MASH!
How much do I love this game. I have to steal this from you. I have a couple of favorite numbers on my first try here were my results:
You will live in Mansion.
You will drive a green Hummer.
You will marry Denzel and have 2 kids.
You will be a Woman of Mystery in New York.
Can you believe I made that a career?
you can all move right in, if you promise to work!? 😉
