My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
go for it! i had a couple of chiang mai pillows made for my family room. they make me smile daily and didn't break the bank.
right now, i'm really into anything by china seas.
That's a great fabric-I hadn't seen that one before!

wow, i was unfamiliar with that fabric, but now im not…..its great, i love it! thanks for sharing!
have you seen it in the blue colorway? it's goregous. I saw this used in a breakfast nook, the owners had covered in pvc. Sounds iffy, but honestly it was great looking and durable in a family kitchen.
You just made my morning! Thank you for posting these beautiful fabrics.
Go make yourself some pillows girl.
Yep, now that song is my head too!
I've never seen fabric like that, love it! I think you should make some pillows as well!
Camila, I haven't been here in ages, but I absolutely love how your blog has developed!!! Looks like things are going really good for you, and you've had some amazing finds lately!! Can't wait to see what you do with all of it 🙂
I adore this fabric and want to use it on everything in my house…now what I dont adore is the price tag…ugg!
oh im obsessed with it!! im dying to do curtains in KWID trellis, ha ha ha not on my unemployment budget
Fab fab!
That fabric is beautiful. I love it on her kitchen stools. I also love the picture with the green chaise, with the fabric on an accent pillow.
I hope Jon gives in, opps, I mean delightfully agrees. 🙂
I kind of had an Imperial Trellis thing for awhile. Can't think of a song to go with it, though.
I love that fabric soooo much, I used to have it in my living room! By any chance could you post better-quality scans of the magazine article?
I always loved this fabric and then I saw it in Domino on those breakfast room chairs and I was IN LOVE. I had not seen the InStyle yet. THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!!!!
I love everything on here! Kristen Bell has such a sweet pad and a really cute doggie! Love all those bright punchy accents!
Love the fabric! Can't wait to see what you do with it… lately, I've been obsessed with Amy Butler fabrics. I love her color combos, especially grey and yellows, and the floral patterns.
I can't wait to pick up the newest In Style! I love that fabric, love, love, love!
Oh I am drooling over that first settee with those cushions! Love the pattern – you must do something with it.
Wow, it's everywhere! I have loved chiang mai for a while, so I'd totally be in support of you using it somehow!
This is the first time I've seen your blog and I love it!! I've been obsessing about this fabric ever since my In Style mag came in the mail last week. I really want to reupholster an armchair of my grandmother's with this fabric! My question is…how does someone buy it? At Schumacher.com, it looked like you had to be in the business..
Thanks!
ahh! that fabric is GORGEOUS!! LOVE IT 🙂
My son loves that song too. We you-tube it at least three times a day and watch the music video. 🙂 It made me laugh that you mentioned the song.
