Great idea! I would actually pick Restoration Hardware! (since I'm in Norway – no where near NY! Or the US for that sake…)

  11. Devon says:

I'd like ABC Home because I've heard about it but never been.

There's also a Japanese organization store that Martha Stewart featured in one of her magazines (the name escaped me) but it was minimal organization products and the NY store was their only U.S. store. It looked amazing and I'd kill to learn more about it (and where in Japan their stores are located –I'll get there before I'll get to NY!!)

    Great idea!!

  12. Yansy says:

What a great idea. I have to get back to you on which stores but the best part is that NYC has plenty of those. Enough to keep you busy for the next couple of months.

Hiii Camila! I've been dying to get to Flair in NYC – not that Boston is that far but I just never find time when I'm down there. I went to their store in Florence and it was amazing but haven't been to the one in NY yet (http://www.flairhomecollection.com/default.aspx)
    Talk soon! – Liz

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]

The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]

new-farrow-and-ball-paint-color-picks-for-my-house

Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]

What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]

mock-up-of-kitchen-design

I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
