My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
That first one is just what I need! I would love to have it in light green. Thanks for the share, will check out JC Penney's site now.
No rug snobbery, here. Go JCP!!!
love all these, jcpenney has also been blowing me away lately!
im impressed. these are great.
moo moo's hahaha, thats funny!
I need the 1st one!
I love the first one. Who knew? JC Penneys?
The first one is my favorite! I just love that pattern 🙂
And JCPenney is also a great place for drapes on the cheap!
jCP is my place! haha in my first house, everything came from there after I ran up every other credit card besides Penney's…Love going through that big ol catalog of theirs! And they're curtain section is awesome!
OMG I was just visualizing the first one today but had no idea where to get one. Thank you
I really love that first rug, just fabulous!
The first one is fantastic. You're so right about JC Penney becoming more versatile, they also have a great collection of window treatments. Come by and check out the new City Escapes series, it starts today. I can't wait to see what you'll be putting together for us.
Wow, thanks for bringing these to my attention! I will be rug shopping soon and didn't even think to check JC Penny, but certainly will now. Thanks!
The Henna Tatoo rug is fantastic. Wow. Who would have thought?
Next thing you know – Sears will start rolling out great things.
So jealous that you can get such lovely rugs at such amazing prices – everything is so much more expensive in Australia! Great post! Happy weekend. Hayley & Tracey xx
great rug choices. im not big on reds but those got me thinking.
Pretty fabulous finds!
Wow, I'm impressed! Love the first one! 😀
Love me some JCP! They always have sneaky finds!
I agree about the whole treasures to be found at JC Penneys. I like their costume jewelry… fun pieces at great prices so I don't feel married to it. I rediscovered this store a couple of years ago when it seemed a lot of my shopping options were going away. It is kind of fun that most of my friends don't shop there. It is discouraging to buy something fun and then find out that two of your friends bought the same thing… ugh.
Anyway, loved the top Carristan rug. Thinking it would be a great replacement for an oriental style I have now. Thanks for sharing
I totally agree on the fact that great finds can sprout up at Penney's. I used to get compliments all the time on my clothes when I was a poor college kid, and I too-frequently found myself chirping "I got it at the JC Penney Two-Day Sale!"
Pretty paisley. It's great to have these so easily available from a store like JCP.
omg! great finds! jc penny, who knew??? I am going to have to check them out!
I agree, they have some hidden gems!
great finds, i never thought of to look there!
