  4. Design Esquire says:

I think it would look great in a store or home office. Its very cool and different. But I'm with you, the temptation to color it in would be too gret for me.

  5. Ms. Bright says:

How fun would that be in a dressing room?! There was a line of wallpaper once upon maybe 5 years ago that had little frames you could color in(in Domino or Real Simple, maybe??) Been wanting something like that ever since.

  6. pve design says:

I would love it in a powder room or even in a pantry.

  7. Nakiya @ Taste of Baltimore says:

I would ATTACK those rooms with a marker!!!!! How fun!

  8. Rachel says:

I think they're pretty awesome – I love the one in the office and the one in the closet/dressing room with table. But I'm like you, I'd probably build the urge to color it all in. Between the lines, of course!

  9. l.alden says:

This technique is impressive, and I'm sure painstakingly long, but I'm not sure if I'd like it in my own home. Maybe the occasional decorative picture frame molding drawn around a basic frame on the wall (somewhat like that wallpaper that was trendy a while back), or in a kids room (they'd be so happy if they could color on the walls!) I'm not sure though about my own home.

  10. LindsB says:

oh man that is just an accident waiting to happen with me. My ADHD would take over and I would not be able to control myself, even if I didn’t have a box of crayons on me I would have the urge to whip out my trusty bic pen and get to work 🙂

  11. Blair says:

Oh it would be so fun in a large walk in closet but agree it may be a but much for a large room! Such a fabulous find.

  12. Vintage Junky says:

That is incredible! I am like you, maybe in a small dose… my powder room.

    SMiles!
    Michelle

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]

new-farrow-and-ball-paint-color-picks-for-my-house

Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]

I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
