HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

This weekend while Jon was mounting an even bigger flat screen (I swear I feel like I’m in a movie theater, but he is in heaven) up on our bedroom walls I realized that I never blogged about a before and after I had done before I even started the blog. It was a super […]

Before & After: Console Record Table

Ok so there is no blog by the name of C plus C, it was just my way of letting you know that I (Camila) got to meet up yesterday with Caitlin from Caitlin Creer Interiors! Caitlin was on a mini vacation with her family and I was very lucky to have her squeeze me […]

IN HER SHOES: C plus C

I always think the clothes we choose to rock affect the way we decorate our home. A lot of us take more time in picking out clothes that represent the true us then in decorating our home which are not on display everytime we leave the house. When working with a new client I always […]

Seeing Stripes: DIY Curtains

I think that seeing a person’s bed is a great starting point when one is trying to pin their design style. Not only do you get to see how many pillows they use and whether or not they make their bed every morning, but you get to see how they dress their nest so to […]

Sweet Dreams: What’s your bed style?

I can’t believe that the summer has already come and gone. So sad. In waking up this morning and looking at the window it actually looks like fall already. Gone is the sunshine and in it’s place is dreary gray! We spent one of our last summer days out on the North Fork, which is […]

Weekend Recap: Bye bye Summer

I was completely excited when a comment on my blog lead to me finding Susan from Love Where you Live.  Not only does she write an interior design blog, but she owns her own home store! Hello, dream job! I was totally in awe of her and wanted to be her new BFF. Then I […]

In her shoes: Love Where you Live

I haven’t played in awhile so I decided it would be fun to jump in and join in the fun this week on Hooked on Fridays! These last couple of mornings during my daily walks with the pups and hubby it’s been a tad chilly. So, I’ve taken to grabbing a sweatshirt with me and […]

Hooked on Sweatshirts!

well Dwell Studio of course! I’ve recently had dwell on the brain 24/7! Why you may ask? Well, I’m going for a chinoiserie type look for my dining room, because I think it would be a perfect mix of modern and traditional styles in my room. My dining room furniture is old vintage so there […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
