Hi All,
Today post is from one of my newer blogger friends and I’m so happy that I “met” her. I totally feel in love with her blog from the second I laid eyes on it. Hello it was ORANGE! To top it off she shares her name with my little sister so I knew we would be pals right away. I love what Daniela is sharing with you today! I hope you enjoy!
xo,
Camila

Hi everyone! I’m Daniela from Aesthetic Oiseau and I’m thrilled to be guest blogging for Camila, one of my own favorite bloggers! Since Camila always gives us the inside scoop on the best finds, I thought I would share with you, her lovely readers, one of my own favorite online shops.
I’m a devotee of bamboo motifs…especially of the brass variety. I have a hand-me-down brass bamboo bar cart in my dining room from my mother-in-law and I think it might be one of my absolute favorite pieces. If you love these chic Chinoiserie pieces as much as I do, you will LOVE the online shop Mermaid Hut.
In the right space, this would be a gorgeous cocktail/coffee table. I would love to see its height accentuated with a stack of design books…and when the girls are over for a cocktail, the tray-top is removable so you can serve your drinks in style – Golden Bamboo Butler Table/Tray
This piece would be at the top of my list for a mini bar. I love the size and octagonal shape…it would be fab piled up with your favorite bottles, glasses, a decanter and some fresh flowers – Golden Bamboo Two Tier Table
I’d love to see these tables sprinkled throughout a room to tie it together – Golden Bamboo Antiqued Mirror Tables
These wall shelves (they come in a set of 2!) are my current obsession…I’ve been drooling over these on a daily basis…I’d use them on either side of a mirror (perhaps over my fireplace…hmmm). All I know is I need them – Golden Bamboo Antiqued Mirror Triple Shelf
I received these wall shelves as a Christmas gift and am thrilled with them – they are beautiful in person and so elegant – Golden Bamboo Small Wall Shelf (another set of 2)
And at last…the piece de resistance…my ultimate bamboo brass fantasy! This stunner would be breathtaking anywhere you put it…could you imagine two of these towers, say, flanking a doorway? Oh my – Golden Bamboo Five-Shelf Tower
MH is for the most part a “coastal decor” shop (hence the Mermaid bit, so if your look is nautical, you’ll be in heaven), but I’ve found it to be a sleeper source for Chinsoiserie pieces and really chic accessories – I hope you’ll have fun checking it out!
Thanks for the chance to blog for you Camila…hope you’re enjoying your trip!!
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
great post! i've had the two-tiered table shown here for a couple of years now and I love it! I removed the bottom tray and use it separately. First time here on your blog and it's great!

thank you for this post!!
Great tip Daniela. I just bought a pair of their pagoda hurricane lanterns and I love them — I'll admit though I did spray paint them (maybe Camila has gotten to me!) a nice bronze to suit my bathroom.
I ♥ the newsprint as a backdrop. Works well with the metallic bamboo.
i love that last shelf! what a great resource.
So glad everyone liked the tip!
Oh my goodness, what a coincidence! I'm going to have a giveaway of that exact two-tier table on my blog starting this Friday! I absolutely love it and want it for myself!
