My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Oh, this is lovely! I am inspired… but lack matchbooks. Although I have a ton of boarding passes. 🙂
Wow – what a great idea!! I love it! And that wall color is fab too!
Hmm… I have a collection of about 180 postcards. Maybe I could do something similar with them? I've been trying to figure out for years how to display them.
Very cool, this this idea
Tara should frame those postcards -maybe 2 to 3 per frame!
ps: I have a giveaway going on!
This looks great – can't wait to see what you do!
I bet Erika will be thrilled you remembered something like this from 2 years ago!

Those are so neat! I've got a bunch of flick pages bookmarked with tons of vintage matchbook pics and I'm thinking of printing them and framing them on a gallery wall
