My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I love Madeline Weinrib rugs. That is a great alternative though and black and white is a combo you'd never tire of.
Wow, your version is just amazing!
I love the grey and white Madeline Weinrib rug – so pretty!! I love your diy rug
love zig zags so this rug seems dreamy!

Fab find!! Mmmmm, I would love to find a place in my home for the lookalike! P.S. Where did you find the Saarinen-esque side tables in the photo of the room you did?

That little kitchen is so sweet! And by the way, I probably never would've known that your rug was any different — nice work!
What a great find for such a great price!
I love those rugs too! That's a great option for people (like me) who are on a budget.
what a great find! its gorgeous.
You're like a decorating fairy Godmother.
Thanks for finding the look a-like rug. Score!
Hey! Great find!
West Elm has one too. Theirs is a bit more, but they have larger options. I'm still in awe of you making your own!
Love your version of the rug! i was pumped when I saw this deal as well but I've heard pretty awful things about nylon rugs. A tip I learned for those obsessed with the Madeline Weinrig rug is that you can order them in cotton instead of wool and it will save you a ton – you can do this with quite a few of her rugs- I may go with this option at some point!
ooh i never would've thought to use a chevron rug, now i want one!
I just bought the fabric in bright pink/white to recover some chairs! Thanks for the inspiration! Love your rug! Just gorgeous!
