  1. Shannon @ What's Up Whimsy says:

No way!! I love this sofa and I would have snapped it up in a second! How much did it cost?

  2. Lynett says:

It's wayyyyyyyy bold but I love it! I mean I have a black wall so give me all the bold you like! I would totally take it!

  3. Ashley @ Joyful Creations says:

I love it. The build actually looks very similar to a couch I've had in my home for the past 5 years (recently replaced) it was also bold with green, dark pink, and light pink. I swear, it's probably from the same designer. I'll have to see if I can find a picture of the couch.

  4. Mrs. Chic says:

I my house I would loathe it! lol but in the right space it would look amazing

  5. Visual Vamp says:

    You know I love it!
People had more pizazz in years gone by.
    xo xo

  6. Delia says:

yeah…way too much for me…but I could see it as some throw pillows or even a tufted ottoman.

You have great taste though so I am sure you would have made it work if you had somewhere to use it.

  7. Hello Lover... says:

I think the fabric is gorgeous. Definitely a bold piece but in the right setting could totally be pulled off!

  8. Kelly Green says:

Love this sofa!!! I am using that floral on a project at the moment too! You and I need to go shopping together!….KG

  9. liz @ bon temps beignet says:

We had this pattern (but w/ white background) on our couch when I was little. I think my parents donated it a while back : /

If anyone could make it work, it would be you!

  10. Tara says:

My first reaction was "wow! amazing" and then the more I looked at it, the more I thought I would like it for a few weeks, and then I would hate it. I'm really into more neutral-esque (do you count Navy as a neutral?) couches with awesomely bold pillows and maybe a chair.

  11. melissa says:

I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say how much I enjoyed it. Thanks for your posts. I am now a follower here. I will be back. 🙂

  12. Hamptontoes says:

I love the textile! I generally go with neutral sofas and jazz up with pillows, artwork in the room and other splashes of color. However, this sofa looks well made and I love the textile (reminds a touch of my wallpaper in our dining room)…I could build a room around this sofa! I would do a more neutral room and add spice with the sofa and various metals/wood tones.

  13. LindsB says:

I wish I needed a new couch because I would make you go right back there and pick this up for me- loves it!

  14. Christine says:

Honestly, I adore you and your style, but this sofa would drive me nuts! I keep my upholstered pieces neutral and get pops of color from accessories, pillows. If that sofa entered my house through the front door, it would exit through the back door so fast it wouldn't have time to collect dust.

  15. High-Heeled Foot in the door says:

Ha ha I knew the reaction to this sofa would be a mix. 🙂

I'm sorry guys, but I'm still loving it. I don't know if Jon would ever allow something like that in our living room, but if I get a lady den I want something like that. 🙂

Belinda we totally need to go shopping together. You need to come to NY…better yet I need to go down under. 🙂

  16. Madame Muse says:

chinoiserie is for me!!! what a perfect focal point for the living room!!

  17. Bri @ timmythewienerdog says:

I would love it in a bedroom for a small sitting area but i have a feeling if i ever came home with something that bold my hubby would make me turn around and take it back =(

  18. jennifer says:

I love it! With solid colored welting, it would be my heart!

  19. Sara says:

Ummm…L-O-V-E! How sad to have to pass it up!

  20. Sweet Nothings says:

id have this in a min…re do my entire room around it

  21. pve design says:

    Luck be a Lady~

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]

new-farrow-and-ball-paint-color-picks-for-my-house

Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]

mock-up-of-kitchen-design

I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
