HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

I have never met a ruffle I didn’t like. Scratch that I’ve never met a ruffle I didn’t love! I constantly wear ruffles, but I don’t have a lot of it in my own home’s design. It tends to lean on the girly side of things and my manly husband doesn’t always love it. Here […]

Tommy’s House

I know not many wives are begging their husbands to have another lady in their bedroom, but for the past couple of months I had been lusting after Colette. Now before you click away from my blog let me clarify. For the past year or so my bed had been driving me nutty. There was […]

DIY: Colette Upholstered Bed!

Last week I asked you all for advice on my black walls. I totally thought everyone was going to be on my side and tell me to get rid of the black. I was already envisioning sticking my tongue out at Jon saying I told you so while applying a fresh coat of paint on […]

Black Bathroom Update!

My install on Friday went really late, but it went well. It was literally 8pm and I was waiting for the last toss pillow to be sewed on my way to clients apartment. Craziness. I was working on a kitchen nook, dining room and living room that was being installed for a big housewarming bash […]

Weekend Recap: Sneak Peeks

This week has been insanity. I have an install later on today and the week or two before hand is always madness. Highlights of the week have been: – Handful of seamstresses flaking out on me when I need curtains/pillows/cushions made. – Fabric on backorder that has yet to arrive and I need 4 pillows […]

TGIF!

You all know how much I love lucite. Normally I’m blogging about my lucite woes, because Jon hates it and I sadly thought I could sneak some of it into the house, but when ghost chair: There version comes in at $135 I toyed with the idea of using it as a desk chair, but […]

Peek a boo in the kitchen!

I always love Oh Joy’s This & That’s posts Today is my take on it! Sofa is available at Wisteria and comes in at $1,429(Hence the reason for it being only on my wish list and not in my actual house.) In a totally different realm, but with a similar pattern is my that! A […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
