My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I LOVE the pattern of that first *classic* grey rug!
I just got the first rug from Overstock delivered yesterday. I LOVE it. I'm posting pictures on my blog tomorrow.

I love that rug. It is gorgeous.
woohoo! and I love that last rug…
yes!
Love how a pattern transforms a neutral color. Thanks for the Overstock recommendation – I forget they have such great stuff!
Agreed! Really loving grey this season
I love grey in homes and my wardrobe.. def a fav.
I love how they combined a few gold tones with the grey rug…in the mirror and coffee table. I have always been worried about using grey due to my affinity to gilded mirrors and bass coffee tables…but this shows me that it can work! Take care, Caroline
The way that you two work together is very inspiring! Happy Birthday to your hubby!!
Love these picks.
