Blog Spotlight: Three Pink Dots
I’m so happy that everyone has been enjoying the blog directory. I’ve been checking it daily to see what new bloggers in my area have signed up! Visions of blogger get togethers are already dancing in my head.
I’m also checking up on all of the other locations and have found many new to me blogs. I decided that I would spotlight a new blog from the directory every week.
First up: Three Pink Dots which is authored by Lauren who lives in Kanas. The three pink dots stand for her 3 loves: cooking, baking and decorating. Three topics that I love as well.
I just have to share some of her recent home projects.
Amazing Draper chest revamp. Lauren picked it up for $30 and with the help of her sweet parents she got it looking like this:
A coat of white and a pop of blue inside gave this thrift store piece a new lease on life:

Another second hand find! Love it! All this baby needed was new fabric on the chairs. Love that she went with a bright white piping.
I see cane chairs like these all time at my local thrift stores. Look at what a little time at the upholster can do:
There is also an array of food recipes that I’ve quickly bookmarked to start testing out myself.

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

I have dibs on the cane chairs just like that from my parents beach house, and I LOVE what she did with them.

Oh my! That chest revamp is wonderful. I’m seriously going to have to think about this one for our new bedside tables.
