My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
LOve the new blog!
adorable!!!!!!!!!!
I know. I looked at that tree for 5 minutes, then sadley looked at mine. She is amazing
sadly. Blogging is a bad things for those of us who rely so heavily on spell check!
What an awesome idea and those bright colors are perfect for a child’s room! I’m in love with all the little monkeys.
how gorgeous! oh how i wish i could fit a tree in my boys playroom (it’s sooo small), jealous!
This is so amazing, the pink is so unexpected, as are the monkeys!!! perfect for kiddos!! great inspiration, honey!!
I saw that yesterday! It is CRAZY – in a good way. So totally unexpected. And not my style at all, but I can still appreciate it!
Amazing…amazingly happy! If this doesn’t get you in the spirit nothing will! Janell
Such a fun look! Target (at least the one near me) has huge bins of really colorful ornaments for $2 – I bought a bunch as package toppers… but this would be a great style to recreate as well!
I love the tree! I was wanting to do a fun tree for our entire house this year too 🙂
OMG that is so cute!!!! I love it!!! those monkeys are precious!
Just as I posted about white simple Swedish Christmas decor and was so in love with that. Thi just jolted me back to why I’m so addicted to color!!!
i love this! I want to do something fun, but I dont know if a tree is going up this year..with georgie still being trained..and he has a cone of shame on his head..and being alone 8 hours a day….i anticipate bad things happening to the tree. I got a mini tree from Trader Joes though
Love the feminine decs. Reminds me of a much more tasteful version of my freshman year dorm room.
I read Tobi’s blog too and I just was trying to imagine what it would be like to a kid and see that tree. I think I would literally flip my wig….that is if I wore a wig 🙂
WOW. I want that tree! And that room!!!!
Isn’t it amazing??? I was lucky enough to see it in person, and it is TO DIE FOR!
Omgahhhh! I looooooooove that room! That tree would also be perfect if there are kids in the house. I’m sure they’d get a kick out of their quirky mom + dad!
I love love love this tree!
Beyond words gorgeous!
